Why "The Rest Can Wait"
Normal life runs on a timetable. Work, nursery pickups, deliveries, things that need doing at a particular time. None of that is bad. It’s just easy to forget that it isn’t the whole picture.
Travelling feels different. There are still plans, kids, a dog, meals to cook and miles to cover, but the day loosens up. You remember you have choices.
If the route says keep driving but there’s an incredible sunset on the ridge, stop.
That’s the whole idea. We plan, because planning gets you to the good places. But the experience matters more than the itinerary. If somewhere feels special, we make coffee and stay a while. If something unexpected looks worth it, the plan changes.
What you’ll see here
Not a how-to channel, and not a highlights reel. The idea is that you’re sat up front with us. Airing down, hunting for a trail that turns out not to exist, finding the road blocked, setting up camp, cooking, eating, packing up and doing it all again. The calm bits, the funny bits and the frustrating ones.
Kit will turn up because we use it, not because we’re selling it.
The rest can wait.
